When Women Take Control of Their Money, Magic Happens (PEP - Pledgettes Executing with Purpose - Cohort 1 Recap)
This fall, a group of women gathered with a shared belief: that money can build a better world. They came with questions, confusion, and a desire to align their finances with their values. They left with clarity, confidence, and concrete action under their belts.
This was PEP—Pledgettes Executing with Purpose—and our first cohort proved that when you combine education, accountability, and community, transformation happens.
What They Accomplished
The wins speak for themselves. Women in our inaugural cohort didn't just learn—they took action. Here are some of the wins we celebrated with them!
Completed Roth IRA conversions they'd been putting off for years
Discovered forgotten investment accounts (and were pleasantly surprised by the balances)
Negotiated with service providers to honor their rates for new ventures
Switched to values-aligned banks and closed accounts that didn't reflect their ethics
Updated portfolios to ESG investments that match their beliefs
Learned about and explored REITs with a values-driven lens
Found unclaimed money they didn't even know existed
Discovered grants and resources to grow their businesses
These aren't hypothetical someday goals. These are real moves that real women made in just three months.
Beyond the Balance Sheet
But here's what the numbers don't show: the confidence that comes from finally understanding how your money works in the world. The relief of having tools that make value-aligned decisions simple instead of overwhelming. The power of weekly accountability that transforms "I should do that" into "I did that."
As one participant put it: "I have a deeper understanding of how my money is out there working in the world, and its alignment with what I want to support."
Another shared: "Building confidence in making financial decisions and moves. Taking action on those things we know we 'should' be doing but never make a priority."
The weekly celebrations became a cornerstone of the experience—a space to share wins, exchange resources, and learn from each other's journeys. Because this work isn't meant to be done alone.
What Made PEP Different
PEP isn't another financial literacy course that leaves you with a pile of information and no idea what to do next. Built on the proven curriculum from non-profit Invest for Better and refined through our beta testing, PEP is a carefully designed blend of:
Eight learning sessions that cover everything from your money story to building a financial legacy
Two working sessions dedicated to actually doing the work

Multiple learning formats to match how you absorb information best
A community of like-minded women who believe money is a tool for positive change
The curriculum takes you from roots to legacy—starting with your money story and ending with your future financial blueprint. Along the way, you'll cover banking alternatives, stock market basics, values-driven investing, private equity for direct impact, and how to work with financial advisors.

We're ready to grow our wealth. You're eager to learn and step fully into your financial power.
We're doers. You have a bias towards actionable and practical knowledge around money.
We do better together. You believe shared experiences and collective knowledge deepen learning and offer support.
We're change makers. You believe money can be a powerful force for good, and you want to understand how your investments can build a better world.
Your Turn: Join PEP 2026
Our 2026 cohort is forming now, and we're looking for women who are ready to transform confusion into clarity and turn intention into action.

PEP is a three-month commitment at $497 per quarter (monthly payments available). One participant for our fall cohort made more than that from canceling subscriptions and tracking down Missing Money.
The women in our first cohort came in with questions and left with wins. They moved money, changed accounts, built confidence, and created alignment between their values and their financial choices.
