Community Feature: Arder with Alexandria Reed

We are all complex people and so we need multiple communities and circles to help us grow, thrive, and have fun! On International Women’s Day (March 8th), we will be celebrating at TARRA Denver with 10 awesome women communities, including Arder. So I asked Alexandria her why of Arder, here’s what she shared!

As a black woman, I understand the unique challenges that come with navigating the world as a woman of color. Black women face intersectional obstacles that are often compounded by racism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination. That’s why it’s important to have diverse communities of women that understand and appreciate the unique experiences of black women.

At Arder, we’re committed to creating an inclusive community that celebrates diversity and welcomes women from all backgrounds. We believe that diversity is our strength and that when women from different backgrounds come together to support and empower each other, incredible things can happen. By providing a platform for black women to share their stories, experiences, and expertise, we hope to create a space that is inclusive and supportive for all women.

We also recognize that the voices and experiences of black women have often been marginalized or silenced in mainstream discussions of feminism and women’s empowerment. At Arder, we believe that it’s important to uplift the voices and experiences of black women and other marginalized groups, and to work towards a more equitable and just world for all women.

In creating Arder, we’re not just building a community of women, we’re building a movement. A movement that recognizes the intersectional nature of the challenges that women face and works towards creating a world where all women can thrive. We’re committed to amplifying the voices of all women, including those that have historically been underrepresented, and to creating a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable future for all women.

One of the key reasons why I created Arder is because I believe that women need a space where they can feel safe, supported, and encouraged to take risks and pursue their dreams. Far too often, women are held back by societal expectations, gender biases, and a lack of resources and support. By creating a community of like-minded women who share a passion for success and achievement, we can provide a support system that can help women overcome these obstacles and achieve their full potential.

Another reason why I created Arder is because I believe that women need to see more examples of successful women who have overcome the same challenges they face. By sharing stories of successful women who have defied the odds and achieved greatness, we can inspire and motivate other women to do the same. In addition, by providing resources and support to help women overcome the challenges they face, we can help to level the playing field and create a world where women are truly equal to men.

Ultimately, my goal in creating Arder is to help women become the best versions of themselves. Whether it’s through networking, mentorship, education, or personal development, we want to provide women with the tools they need to succeed and thrive. I believe that when women come together to support and empower each other, incredible things can happen. And that’s what Arder is all about.

If you’re a woman who is looking for a community of like-minded, driven women who are dedicated to success and achievement, I invite you to join Arder. Together, we can create a world where women are truly empowered to achieve their full potential.
