Join us for our November KIN Workshop facilitated by Jenn Uhen, Founder of The Pledgettes.
Jenn has cultivated an incredible community of women focused on supporting each other towards achieving their financial goals. Jenn is sharing with us a Workshop titled, “Align Your Money to Your Values.”
In this workshop, we’ll talk about how to take an active role in your finances by aligning your money to your values from three perspectives: Spending, Banking, and Investing. Women and allies have tremendous power with their money decisions.
A few things you can expect out of this Workshop:
- Learn how to intentionally spend your money in a way that aligns with your values.
- Improve your ability to make value-based banking decisions.
- Review your investment approach and how you can put those dollars in places you care most about.
***No private financial information will be shared in this Workshop.
As a mentor and advocate, The Pledgettes Founder Jenn Uhen heard from many women that they will start investing “someday,” or that growing up they were taught to save their money. They weren’t taught the benefit of “investing in themselves” or investing on their own. Jenn also saw that women who were confident and clear with their financial goals had these “right-time, right-place conversations.” Jenn had a number of those conversations and saw the impact it made her in life.
Combine these conversations with binge-watching The Handmaid’s Tale, researching the gender income and (more important) wealth gaps, and some infuriating realizations and personal experiences, Jenn knew she had to do something. Jenn built The Pledgettes to democratize access to financial literacy, build a supportive space for women to evolve their relationship with money, and create connections so no woman is going after her personal financial goals alone.
Jenn and her husband have clear financial goals, which include a diverse portfolio of investment property, retirement accounts, and businesses. All while living a minimalist (but comfortable) lifestyle, including traveling the country in an RV.
KIN is a community built on the foundation of knowledge, inspiration, and network. We are an improved professional community that leads with the person. KIN is built on deeply-rooted relationships, tools, and support for women to live the lives they have envisioned.***By attending this event, you agree to potentially be included in photos taken and used for our network promotional materials. If you do not want to be included in photos, please let us know so we can accommodate.
