Organizers from Austin, Dallas, Buffalo, Miami, and Tampa are banding together to bring you The Future of Freelance – Intention. Impact. Purpose. Join us fully virtual or in-person (select events) in your respective cities.
2020 was a whirlwind for all freelancers – aspiring or experienced. Many of us had to take a step back and evaluate what we were doing, how we were doing it, if we wanted to keep doing it or how we would continue in a pandemic state of mind.
One thing is clear, now more than ever, the future is freelance. As a freelancer, entrepreneur or small business:
- Our intention drives the impact of our businesses
- That impact changes lives
- And our purpose can change the world for the better
We are building out the agenda with sessions to meet freelance business owners where there are and take them where they want to be. You will be able to create your own experience with 101, 201 and 301 level content.

WHAT IS FREELANCE BUSINESS WEEK?
#FBW embraces the local freelance ethos of each city it is hosted in, this year we will meet the challenge of extending this mission – virtually. The local organizers in Austin, Buffalo, Dallas, Miami and Tampa are collaborating, bringing local freelance business owners, leaders and supporters together for five days to expand your network.
Virtual sessions throughout the week consists of workshops, interactive panel discussions, talks from experts, and breakout sessions in a safe space for all of us to connect and grow our freelance businesses.
Join FREELANCE BUSINESS WEEK virtually again this year … led by local peers. Where possible, some city organizers will be offering in-person sessions and watch parties with limited attendee availability for social distancing to keep everyone safe.

#FBW is designed and organized by local freelance business owners … we know how having community and collaboration can catapult your business, #FBW is where you will be with your tribe. Our aim is to help you expand your network, strengthen your business skills and build momentum through inspiration and learning tricks of the trade.
Each #FBW is made up of a wide variety of session topics, types and venue locations across the city. You get to decide how much you want to attend, what days and where. Presenters from the local city and outside come together to share their lessons learned, provide a safe space to learn and connect.
